COLORADO FLOWERS at Madison Contemporary Fiber Artist show

UNTIL NOVEMBER 27  2015

Last summer had unusual rains, so there were more wild flowers in the Sangre de Cristos mountains.

In reading about Buddhism, Lama Surya Das had a daily To Do list.  Each day I embroidered his list to help me remember it.

CREATE   ENVISION
I called these Bee Balm, they were all over. Or they might be Rocky Mountain Beeplant.

EXPAND    INCLUDE
This is a cactus blooming.

FORGIVE     ACCEPT
This is a magenta flower that only bloomed before noon. Possibly a Slenderleaf False Foxglove.
ENJOY   LAUGH
This may be a double aster.

CELEBRATE + APPRECIATE
This is a Golden Eye.
GIVE THANKS
These were small purply pink asters.
