When Linda Mundt Feng Shuied our house she taught us to ask “Does it make me sparkle?” about every object we owned.  That made a huge change in my thinking – I could always answer yes to “Could I imagine a use for this?”

When I was overwhelmed at work Craig suggested I write this in my calendar & use it
to decide what I said yes to doing.

It was a big help.

Hot Flash

The hot flashes started in my 40s. I still get them, but they’ve stopped being distressing.

I can sense when one is about to start and I select some aspect of negative emotion or anxiety
I want to release.

I use the heat and imagine it burning away from every cell.

Now when one starts I think,
“Oh good” not “Oh dear.”
